    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to fill a general education course with an insightful class.

    Course highlights:

This course really opens your eyes to the way we think of other civilizations. It is a challenging course which does require a good amount of effort to understand the theories and concepts in anthropology. The professor, John Denman is very entertaining and passionate about this field. He's going to talk a lot about his field work he did in Fiji and ties it into the curriculum that you learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely must read the books that he tells you to. You read 2 field study books which are very different in nature, so you can be exposed to how field work can be recorded. It will help your grade (I had one of the highest grades in that class). Also when you study, I recommend making flash cards for the vocabulary and making study guides for the midterms.
