Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because Professor Laurent was such a great instructor who was very knowledgeable on the subject. He has been a psychologist for over 30 years, and he always used his own life examples to help teach us the subject, which helped a lot in my opinion. He was always there to help his students, and my success was due to his flexible office hours and his helping hand. I was also extremely interested in the course.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot, such as possible causes behind mental disorders. Professor Laurent taught us about different structures inside the brain and how they were tied into certain mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia or dissociative identity disorder. We also watched educational videos of patients who suffered from a mental disorder, and the professor made us diagnose him/her, which made me feel as though I were an actual psychologist.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should always go over their notes after class to prepare for the next exam. All exams are based on the material we learn and what we read in the textbook. Pay attention at all times during class because you can miss important information. Studying weekly will lead to success in the class, and doing the research paper well will also guarantee success. Be sure to speak to the professor during office hours if you are struggling in the course.
