Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives you a great understanding of the United States Political system and will teach you things you will need to know as an American citizen. This class will teach young students how to register to vote and how voting works. Professor Kurvink does a great job of bringing both left and right wing perspectives to all issues. Critical thinking helps you bring our your own values in this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was reviewing all of the different jobs and positions in local government. For example, one thing I learned is that the controller for each state signs the checks that the treasurer proposes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take detailed notes during class, information from class lecture makes up the majority of the exam questions. Review notes every night after class and read up on the next chapter the night before your next class. Repeat this process as much as possible
