    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the contents of it are very interesting and important to understand. It was fascinating to go back in time and get a sense of what it would have been to live back then.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the history of the United States to reconstruction. I really enjoyed learning about The Salem Witch Trials because it gives you an idea of how complex and abstract human behavior can be.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would let any student taking this class know that they will surely learn a lot from it. I would let them know that they should be prepared to work hard because it is worth it in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

United States History is my favorite subject therefore I find it very interesting to learn about, but sometimes it is hard for me to learn from the professor.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a lot of general skills from taking this course. I have learned a lot about essay writing and how to write a good one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is so much reading you have to do and complete it fast, I would advise to stay on top of the reading no matter how hard it is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was very engaging and intriguing for me as a student. The class was very fun and enjoyable while the work load wasn't too much. The exams were doable, nothing over the top, as long as you study and read the books.

    Course highlights:

I always looked forward to showing up to class and learning more with each day. I never really enjoyed taking history courses in the past, but this one was different. I was able to see how America has shaped its history into what it is today. I gained a new perspective when looking at US history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This dividing line between people who do well in this class and those who don't is who reads the assigned reading. Also, be prepared to write a lot of notes. Make sure to do your work, take notes, study and read. With all of this in mind, doing well in this class is within your reach.
