The course involves physics concepts created within the last century. That is concepts post Albert Einstein. Professor Hall, does standard lecture and difficult exams meant to challenge your understanding however grades very fairly and gives points based on understanding over correctness, allowing you to receive full credit even if a basic arithmetic error is made but show obvious understanding of concepts.

Don't put off the homework and make sure you understand the problems. The concepts are fundamentally difficult and the course is designed to help you as much as possible. Ask questions no matter how dumb you think they are.
