Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class my sophomore year with Professor Bradley and he had learning how to write in MLA, and APA fun and easy!

    Course highlights:

This class was a culinary english class, which meant all our readings were based off of food stories.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Read every story he gives you and take down notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great class that allowed us to explore many current events, history, and topics that most classes do not speak about. It also gave us freedom to pick our own topics to write and talk about. We came together to work on discussing stories and learned more about one another in the process.

    Course highlights:

The freedom we had to explore certain topics was great. I learned about cultural values and other things from other countries that I wasn't familiar with. My fellow classmates informed me of their values and how they live . I loved this class and was able to learn about things going on in the world that are important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open to learning about new topics. Do not be afraid to speak your mind in this class. You will have freedom to state your opinions on many controversial and important topics.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I actually did not have this professor however, I am an Academic Coach so I do help on the side lines for the students who actually do attend this class. I sit and listen and assist the students in class during the lectures and outside during my own time and I love the connection she has with her students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were mainly just seeing the improvement from the students essays and seeing their WPT practice scores go from a 3 to an 9 in 2 practice tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay attention. What I see from most of the students that I coach in class is that they ask repeating questions and dont pay enough attention when everything is already written down for them.
