Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class really kept me interested in the material at hand. The professor was also very passionate about the subject, creating a great working environment.

    Course highlights:

There was little no actual hand written work. And the professor kept the class entertained and enthusiastic about the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The study guide he gives is like the key to acing the tests. If you do not know the material on that page you probably won't pass.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course, while very major-specific despite being open to all students, is amazing to get basic knowledge about how government, particularly the Texas Gov't works, and you are not required to take the second part, 1050. Borges is an amazing teacher that will work with you as long as you work with him (aka, talk to him). If you do take this course, keep in mind the reading and the Homework Reading Assignments, it will help you so much.

    Course highlights:

Learned: The basic functions of Government, types of policy and the way campaigns are run, particular specifics about the Texas Government and why things work the way they do. The highlights: PoliAnimal quiz at the end of the semester, sarcastic quips about politicians and their campaign ads, amazing debates and fully engaged class. Obama Girl Ad.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For the love of god do the HRA's, they will boost your grade up. There are ~3 tests plus the final, depending on class speed, study well and use those critical thinking skills. Look up current events to stay on top of references made in class.
