    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the class trains you to look at any piece of art and understand why it may be considered art. It also encourages a student to have an opinion about what type of art he or she might actually enjoy.

    Course highlights:

In this class I have learned that I love learning about art history. Seeing the transformation of art through the time periods is amazing, Also being about to identify personal preferences from these time periods is helpful for an art student such as myself to truly understand what art I like and like to create.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is that they need to come to class every day. It is a lecture-based class, and though the powerpoints are online, it is nearly impossible to get all of the necessary information about the history and culture by just looking at the powerpoints. Being present in class is necessary to succeed in this class.
