    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Despite a lot of the time in her class feeling overwhelmed and scared of how she was grading the other students around me, she was altogether a very good teacher when it came to student feedback.

    Course highlights:

She was phenomenal when it came to giving students feedback.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the heck out of the handbook the English department makes for the bookstore and it will help you a ton.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Michaels is a great instructor, however, the course is very difficult because it requires extremely critical writing skills. Advanced high school English classes were not enough to prepare students for this college course.

    Course highlights:

I learned the strong structure of a good paragraph and overall essay. Essays by genius authors have such profound and meaningful interpretations; these interpretations were often beyond my understanding of how the words they say are interpreted to another meaning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice to pass on to future students, would be to always do the work as soon as possible because you will be told to fix things that are holding it back from being a passing paper. Always read and reread the given articles, as you will be picking out quotes to write about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it gets you, not only a head start on college credits, but also college life as a whole. It improves your time management ability because initially, the papers are moderate in length. Throughout the course, the paper's length and topic increases in depth. Therefore, as the requirements increase, the more you balance your schedule.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course is the non-fiction topics that we discuss. It gives us, as students, more opportunity to express ourselves. Another highlight is that we learn how to expand our writing ability prior to beginning college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to go into this course with an open mind. I know lengthy papers sounds stressful; however, once you find the topic that interests you, the tendency is to write more than the expected requirement. Ideas start to flow and the words come with ease.
