Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend for all hard science majors. Prof Connors does a great job helping you get the material down by practicing it in class.

    Course highlights:

Highlight was the fact that homework out of the book was not mandatory. Only homework online was which normally was not super long. If you understood the notes you will do well on the quizzes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise going to the tutoring center at IUSB. They should be able to help you on those pesky online homework questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was designed well and is not very difficult. The professor was easy to work with and loved to see students at his office hours. Exam questions were exactly like what was seen in the book and on quizzes. There were lots of quizzes and exams to help give you points and they were graded very leniently and bonus because all but the final exam had a take home part. However, not a lot of class work or ways to get points other than quizzes and exams.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this exam is that you learn many applications of things you have studied in previous math courses. You also begin to understand functions themselves better. By taking this course, you will learn what goes behind the things you have already done. Most of the hard learning is already there, this course just ties things together a bit more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the homework. The book work is not graded but the problems seen on quizzes and exams are almost the exact same (sometimes they were). The book work also is a good way to drill yourself to remember what was learned in class, so do not wait to do it. Also do office hours, it was really beneficial.
