    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Most science majors here at IUSB are dedicated to pursuing careers in healthcare we are required to take Organic Chemistry. However, this course is designed for Chemistry majors who want to attend graduate school. This makes the course 100x more difficult than need be. Overall there's a ton of work required just for the lab portion of this course and it significantly takes away from your other courses.

    Course highlights:

There weren't any. You do learn a lot as, but as far as pertaining to medicine you need to learn a lot more concept involved aspects and I don't think this course tailors to that.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take any other courses with this one. Make sure you have tissues 24/7 to wipe your tears with. If you want to feel depressed and suicidal take this course. No matter how much work you put in you will fail unless the material comes natural for you. Basically all the horrific stories of Organic Chemistry you can read online are true.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Warren only lectures for about 15 minutes, then spends the rest of the time talking about foreign cultures. He also contradicts the book and previous professors which makes difficult topics very confusing.

    Course highlights:

The lab portion of this course was interesting. Aside from that, I didn't really learn much from the lecture portion.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course with Dr. Warren.
