Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is absolutely amazing! He gives real world examples from his 12 years of practice as a clinical psychologist and everything is just so interesting.

    Course highlights:

In this class you will learn how to accurately analyze patients based off case studies with minimal information. We dealt with mood and personality disorders as well as rare brain disorders without cures or causes.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is very important that you attend every single class that is provided. Missing just one class can absolutely put you behind for the next class. Prof. Hubbard doesn't usually write things on the board or give out handouts so it is very important that you write down everything he says. Even if you do not think the scenario is important still write it down because you will notice he writes the tests as if he is speaking to his class. Another tip is to get very comfortable with the people in your class because the more comfortable you are the more likely you will ask questions and get the answers you desire. All in all treat this professor with the upmost respect because he will not let you fail.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Hubbard is amazing and very knowledgeable. Do no underestimate his tests. You must study hard but it is worth it.

    Course highlights:

The final exam was a high light because you actually got to diagnose real situations. I learned all about personality disorders.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind. Create mock tests and be sure you can pull from memory.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

One of the best courses I've taken at IUSB so far. Dr. Hubbard makes the class super interesting with all of his stories. He has years of experience in his field and I really felt I learned a lot because of it. If you're lucky you may even get to meet his dog, Bubba.

    Course highlights:

I feel like I gained a more thorough knowledge of psychology due to Dr. Hubbard. He's very helpful when it comes to explaining what you need to know.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I made loads of flash cards to remember all the terms. I highly recommend coming up with a way that works for you to help you remember all the terms. There will be a lot of them.
