Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Arrington completely changed my view about Africa and Africans. She took all of the stereotypes that students had about Africa and explained how those stereotypes had come to be. She was a very understanding teacher and was always willing to give a helping hand. She gave us her PowerPoints so we could review them outside of class.

    Course highlights:

We learned about all of the great nations and kingdoms in Africa. Many people don't even know about them or how successful they were! We learned about how colonization had an effect on Africa. We learned about African healing traditions and way they dressed.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and take notes! If you pay attention in class and participate the class is enjoyable and you will remember the information for the tests. Don't skip class. If you show up everyday it really shows how you care about your grades and the class.
