Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the material is very specific and taught step by step. Although it is basic chemistry, everything you learn builds up and it is great to ask questions on the basic and know how chemistry works.

    Course highlights:

Even though I took chemistry in high school, i gained a lot of information by taking chem 111 because I learned different ways to learn the same material. In chem 111, I learned basic terminology, equations such as percent yield, and ratios etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though this is chemistry 111, you will definitely still need to study and ask questions when you are not sure. Be confident in every problem you learn and always practice more problems in the book out of class. You learn a to in class but you learn more when you sit down and work on the material by yourself.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I had a limited knowledge in chemistry. This course was very helpful and easy to understand, The professor, Dr. R, was very helpful in and out of class. She made sure to review multiple examples in class and give similar examples on the homework. The exam problems were always similar to the samples from practice.

    Course highlights:

Along with lecture, there was a lab. The lab helped me make connections to the content in class. I learned the basic knowledge of chemistry and how to implement experiments into the elementary classroom.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask Dr. R for help! Chemistry is hard when you have a limited background. Dr. R was super helpful with everything in class.
