Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because the professor is great and as long as you do the readings from the book, pay attention in class, and take notes on the things that she says that she doesn't write down as well as what she does the class is easy.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the human body systems and found them very interesting. Salihu was very excited about teaching which made the class that much better. The beginning of the course is all about plants and organisms which I found challenging differentiate the different types but Salihu is very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the pre readings from the book! She grades participation points with accuracy. Almost all of the clicker questions are from the reading or previous slide. Her study guides are very useful but when study, do the study guides but also flip through your notes because she has questions that are about specific slides.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is a very interesting and fun, and having a professor that was excited about teaching the topic made it much easier to understand. If you are a bio major or just have a passion for science, this course will teach you all of the rudimentary facts that really build the stepping stones to courses you'll need in the future.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of appreciation for biology after this course, because it really brings you deep into the foundations of life and gives you facts that amazed me. It made me very excited for future biology I have to take. Testing was much easier also, because you didn't mind studying the information: you wanted to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the homeworks to heart because they help with tests. Pay attention and give the professor your full attention. It's little things that go a long way to make your grade go from a B to an A.
