    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it was a class that you will gain a lot of knowledge and insight in. There was a lot of engagement within the class and new friendships and study groups were created.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of studying and retaining information. It also taught me how to be patient and apply what i learned to everyday life. I also learned new ways to study.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should understand what the professor is asking and always attend office hours if you need help. Office hours can help build a relationship between you and your professor and knowing that you can always go to them for help will help you succeed in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Abdul is the best at teaching the basic physics courses at WVU. His tests are harder than most of the other physics teachers, but at least you will learn something in his class. Abdul was very funny and entertaining. The class seemed to go by very quickly. I liked that he only focused on one or two problems per class because then he would focus on how you would get to the answer and not rush through it. His english is not the best, but he gets his point through.

    Course highlights:

Very basic physics is taught in this course. If you are required to take trigonometry, I would recommend taking trig first, and then his class because it will make a good portion of the class easier. You will learn about projectiles and oscillations and how forces affect objects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The first test will be easy, but the next few will get harder. Do not wait until the last minute to study this course, you will not remember everything. Since Abdul's tests are not multiple choice, there is basically no way to get the answer right if you do not know how to answer the problem.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I don't think she is to blame for the difficulty of this course.

    Course highlights:

The material is hard to work with, and the university requires a curriculum that is way longer than it should be.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

She helped me regularly in her office, always had time to meet with me, and, ironically, I was usually the only one in the office for help.
