    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is the "poster child" of the nursing profession. You cover broad and diverse topics which allows you to better understand what is expected of you and the demands of the job.

    Course highlights:

Great patient care is at the "heart" of nursing. If you understand that concept, then everything else about the nursing profession falls into place.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take copious notes and review them daily and seek to understand them as well as learn them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is required, but when I was done with this course I felt as if I have never learned more than anything in my life.

    Course highlights:

I learned about life from the beginning to end and the basics of taking care of someone whether it is morning care or completing a shift assessment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course I would tell students that every point matters and to ask questions when you are confused. This course can be extremely difficult if you do not have a firm grasp on what you are doing.
