    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class whether you are interested in a communications major or not. It is tough, but forces students out of their comfort zones. Speaking in front of people and presenting is not easy for most, but it is an essential skill needed in the work force. I always heard that speech was an easy class, but this class pushes you in many ways that make it much more difficult than a typical speech class.

    Course highlights:

I was forced out of my comfort zone in a way I had not previously experienced. I had to memorize theories and speak about topics I wasn't necessarily interested in, but I had to learn to present the ideas and opinions in a professional manner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! It may not be a fun read, but the book holds many of the answers to the seemingly "impossible" chapter tests. If you stay caught up, you will be fine.
