    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very thorough about teaching you the material you need to know how to properly write. If you have any problems, she is willing to help you figure out what is holding you back. You will have numerous assignments that are worth 1-2 points each but they are definitely important for your grade.

    Course highlights:

Every day we would open lecture with a journal assignment. The professor would put a scenario, poem, or the beginning of a story and you would have to finish with your own side of the story, or share your reaction to the poem, or may even just answer the question that was asked. This definitely helped me keep in the flow of writing, but also being creative.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

At the beginning of the semester you will pick a topic to research the entire semester, and will write smaller papers on the topic building up to the big, final paper. Make sure you pick a topic that will be easy to find information on and that really interests you as you will be working with it for an entire semester.
