Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If your an Accounting major or minor then you'll have to take this class. You can buy the book if you wish, cost about $180. I did but didn't really use it. It's a specific edition for this IUPUI class. You will have to purchase Aleks however. Overall, this class is enjoyable if you take an interest in the financial accounting cycle and recording financial statements. I totally recommend.

    Course highlights:

It's once a week. You'll learn about financial statements, journal entries, adjusting journal entries. Also will give you a better understanding of debit and credit if you are not yet familiar with. You will have to use accrual accounting concepts. Outside of class you'll have to complete an interactive web-based class called Aleks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class. Come prepared with notes. Try to constantly study and interact with material since its once a week. Use the study sessions they usually have during fall & spring semester if you need to. Interact with other students in class to help each other. May also help to just know people in your specific major.
