Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in the basic principles of psychology and how certain functions of the brain control humans’ behaviors in given contexts. The class was very helpful for me and was not too difficult for having no prior knowledge of psychology.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite parts of the course was learning the anatomy of the brain and how each part functioned. I also enjoyed the enthusiasm that my professor brought to class each day and constantly interacted with students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to any student interested in taking B110 is to buy the book and thoroughly read over the chapters before taking an exam or quiz. I made my own study guides by highlighting terms in the book and writing down their definitions but I was also very adamant to read my professor’s power points because some of the information on her slides came directly from the test. Study until you are 100% comfortable with the information in front of you because the tests are not easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and professor when it comes to taking psychology classes because it is a wonderful start for those who want to major in psychology. Dr. Herold is a great instructor and has been teaching this course for many years. She does not just sit there and lecture the whole class, she makes sure she gives you time to work with others and get up to do hands on work. This is one f the things that i love most.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course is that instead of the instructor standing in front of the class lecturing the whole time she makes sure she gives you time to get up and do hands on work where you are communicating with others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice i would give to students considering this course is to go to class everyday, stay focus, go to the psychology resource center, and always ask for help when you need it. And always study and go over the book when you can.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is not only interesting but you also learn a lot about the way the human body works. If your into the brain and how disorders work than you will love this class,

    Course highlights:

I learned that the younger the child has a disorder the dangerous it is likely to be instead of getting it later on in life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the quizzes they make you or break you!
