Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Speech is often dreaded by students. It is hard to get in front of strangers and talk with all eyes on you. In Mrs. H's class, she made a very warm environment and provided many tips to help us get comfortable speaking.

    Course highlights:

The things i learned the most from in this course were the other speeches given by students. We got to pick our topics often, so may people were passionate and knowledgable about the things they chose to speak on.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you make an effort to produce a speech worth listening to, A "B" is extremely achievable. If anxiety has got you down about speaking, let Mrs. H know and she will help you find ways to get over it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class as it helps you develop very important skills such as anxiety management when public speaking, preparing to speak, and being comfortable enough under pressure to react to a reaction from the crowd.

    Course highlights:

I would like to highlight the introduction speech as something to look forward to. You get to structure an entire speech based on the story of your own life and what you want people to know about you. It's a great exercise to break the ice with people you don't quite know yet, and a chance to let your story be heard.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this course, it's very important to have an ambitious mind set. The class will be fun and stress free as long as you show up to class, listen to instructions, and do your best that you can when preparing a speech.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The outline they give you in class is actually a pretty good tool to write a decent speech. If you don't struggle with public speaking this class will be a breeze, and if you do struggle then it'll help you get over that. There's very little else you need to do other than write and give the speeches.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to give a decent speech using an outline.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice your speech 7 times before giving it.
