Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like the diversity of the non native english speakers and the native english speakers. It was also great in helping me to write professional sounding papers and learning from others.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to write papers in APA style. It was a great course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to the University Writing Center because it helps a lot when it comes to getting reviews on your paper.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you get a good prof like Aukerman, this class is great! He is super helpful and open to discussion and very encouraging if you put in your work.

    Course highlights:

In a nutshell, learned how to be a creative writer. He is all about taking risks with writing so that you can learn right and wrong ways to write. He grades with what he calls a "grade covenant". Which is just a pact saying that if you put in a certain amount of work, good ethic, have a good attitude and show up to class you will get a B grade or higher.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just write your heart out! Put in effort and you will get a good grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor was very understanding. Letting students ask as many questions they needed to understand the material. Also Professor Michealis was motivating in telling everyone their writing did not suck no matter how horrible you think it was.

    Course highlights:

What I took away from this course was how to properly structure an image analysis essay and also a closed research essay paper. The notes that we took in class were very informative as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you will need to pay attention during class. You will also need to go to class everyday unless it is canceled. Professor Ben usually will let you out early anyways, so there is no need to skip class.
