    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for almost any major. It is a course that will definitely help everyone when dealing in financial situations.

    Course highlights:

Getting an introduction of accounting, with all of the financial statements, and journal entries was something I learned which was very confusing at times. I learned how to balance journal entries, the 5 different financial statements, and how the accounting principles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every class or you will miss very important information which will be hard to get caught up on. Do not pull out your electronics during class, and do not have side convos while the Professor is teaching because she will call you out, as well as you will miss out on important information. It is a fast paced class and it is easy to get lost and confused in this course. Feel free to ask questions when confused and do your best to attend the tutoring sessions that are provided. Make sure to do all of the online work because it helps big time for exams and class work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am an international student ambassador at IUPUI. According to me, IUPUI is a great institution to be a part of! It has a lot more than just academics.

    Course highlights:

There are many student organisations on campus! You will for sure find something of your interest and if you do not then you are more than welcome to start your own student organization! IUPUI has great opportunities of scholarships for international students! IUPUI has been ranked in the top 10 “Up-and-Coming National Universities” category by U.S. News and World Reports for three consecutive years.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I am loving my experience here at IUPUI. I think my student life is well balanced. Personally, being in downtown is the best thing about IUPUI because there is everything in just walking distance from the campus!
