    Course Overview:

The instructor makes the course interesting. He also gives pretty straight-forward exams and quizzes.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is better to read the material before the lecture if you want to really retain the knowledge.

Dr. Herold does a great job of providing real life examples for all of the concepts discussed. She utilizes a hands-on approach to learning, which greatly helps in understanding the material. This course had a variety of assignments, like CogLabs, to help students to further comprehend the information.

    Course highlights:

Cognition is a fascinating subject. I didn't realize just how complex our cognitive processes were until taking this course. I especially enjoyed learning tips to help maximize retention of information while studying.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend taking full advantage of the in-class participation assignments. These are designed to help you better understand the information being covered, and talking with classmates about it can provide great insight.
