Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Strong based your grade on how well you listen and apply material, making the grading scale very fair and relatively easy to do well on as long as you attend class and do the reading.

    Course highlights:

I love how the lecture is taught like a story. This makes all of the information much more interesting and relatable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you do the reading and listen in class. Professor Strong will go over many quiz answers in class, but you have to actually show up and take notes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it offers a general overview of sociology that challenges students to view the world from a different perspective. The course is also graded fairly based on the knowledge you will gain in lecture and readings.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the guest speaker, Kate Hunger, as well as the unit on poverty. Kate Hunger came in to talk about school systems, which is very relevant to us as students. Professor Strong also taught a unit on poverty in which I learned how poverty comes about and why it is not an easy problem to eradicate.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, I recommend attending class and taking detailed notes. These notes will help you a lot on the quizzes. I also recommend actually doing the reading because it is generally interesting and will help you succeed in the class.
