    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Yard is by far the best and most professional professor I have had while attending IUPUI.

    Course highlights:

I learned many anatomical structures and details about these structures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would attend the mentoring sessions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

overall great professor, and very focused individual. His goal is to always help the students who are struggling. He makes every lesson very simple and concise. I didn't think anatomy would be my favorite class but it was.

    Course highlights:

The best part was being able to identify the body by correct nomenclature. I can now name almost every part of the human body with no struggle. I can pinpoint pain and aches. Im on my way to being a nurse!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not slack, do not take it easy. STUDY. IT is a hard course if you make it one. Its all about repetition so you need to keep up on the flash cards. Make study devices.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher, Dr. Yard, was a wonderful instructor who took a concept as expansive as human anatomy and honestly made it fun and interesting to learn about throughout the entire semester.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included videos from hospitals and laboratory sessions involving currently relevant content along with Dr. Yard's many own personal and humorous tales (of which I will not share).

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

As noted in the tags below, always do the reading. You'll be amazed at how easy the exams are if you take just a few hours each day outside of class to review what's taught. If you're still having trouble, talk to Dr. Yard. He is always willing to help, and there're even multiple class mentors who give periodic study sessions. There's no shortage of instructor assistance, I guarantee it.
