This class was very helpful because it kept our math skills sharp and taught us valuable teaching techniques.

I would just recommend staying ahead of the game on homework and reading because once you get behind, it is difficult to come back.
Pretty easy, overall.

Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
As with any course, it is important to complete the homework and study. It was also very helpful to use the Math Assistance Center located on campus.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
It is intended for elementary education majors only, but if you could speak with an advisor to find some wiggle room it would be so worth it! A lot of students struggle with math because they don't have a full understanding of the basics and don't even realize that is their problem.
Course highlights:
Different ways to do basic mathematics. It was actually taught to me so I could understand as opposed to being told so I could do it on my own.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Practice, practice, practice! Visit the math assistance center, and listen carefully!
