    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is a "weed out" class so Nyugen definitely makes it hard. But if you stay on top of studying and go to her office hours you'll do fine.

    Course highlights:

Nyugen definitely made sure you learned material, instead of just memorizing it

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this class if you actually have to, this is not a blow off class. And be prepared always.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Nguyen was an excellent prof. She gives numerous examples in class and has reliable practice tests. Her tests are not very hard if you've done the prac test, bluebook prob and have looked over the TEXT. If you're having problems, go to her office and she is happy to help.

    Course highlights:

This class will get you a better and deeper understanding in principle chemistry and prepare you for the Organic chemistry. You will also develop you study skills and problem-solving skills in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss any lecture. If you have to use the online notes and echo. Print out the chapter notes and bring them to lecture so you can highlight what you need to pay attention to. Do the practice tests before go to study sessions when Nguyen is reviewing. there are always at least 1 or 2 questions that are not discussed in class so if you want to get perfect score on the test read the TEXT. Recitation was not really helpful.
