Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you want to learn about social work and to determine if you would like to be in this field of work.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning that social workers are often the front line for protecting children and families from harm. By taking this course and pursuing a degree in social work, I learned that I now have a great opportunity to generate change.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed you need to know and apply the code of ethics for social workers. You have to have a passion to help others who are not self sufficient.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a good into level for Social Work majors. The class gives the very basics of the profession and allows you to grasp the real concepts behind social work. I would highly recommend (also required for Social Work majors)

    Course highlights:

I really grasped the basics of the Social Worl profession. Not only is there an opportunity to interview a real life Social Worker, there is so much insight to the realities of a Social Worker's life. The Code of Ethics was a focal point of this course as it guides every social worker's practice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention! The course is set up so that you succeed. You have to pass this class to get into the social work program. Do every extra credit assignment offered and READ THE BOOK. You cannot pass the tests/quizzes without doing the readings.
