    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an incredibly engaging course which explored a lot of controversial and very important topics that regard our environment. Professor Zhu incorporates how our decisions as humans can impact all other species on a massive scale, while giving scientific evidence to back these claims each class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of useful information about climate change which I am able to take out into the world and use/discuss with other people. I also learned quite a bit about how all other animals function together in the wild and how that impacts each and every ecosystem.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If I could give any advice for this course, it would be to study hard for the exams, as they are the central focus of your grade in the lecture. The lab is very much so graded on whether or not you are willing to put in the time to truly understand and appreciate the lab reports, but the lecture is very book/lecture material oriented. Pay attention and attend class!
