    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Beckman does a great job of bringing to the table all the different social and ethical issues of the health field. There are a lot of guest speakers that make things interesting.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that there is many different right a wrong ways to handle situations in the health field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay on top of the assignments and definitely participate in class. Get to the point where she knows your name and build a relationship with her.

    Course Overview:

    Great for pre-medical students in whom have focused largely on science courses and looks great on your transcript. This class shows that you enjoy diversity, culture, and various perspectives of healthcare.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were the guest speakers from various professions and learning what one can do with a medical humanities degree/minor.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Attend class, this is worth more than 50% of your grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    She encourages you to think outside the box. She'll give you an assignment but make you want to exceed her expectations. Her love for the course and warm, sweet spirit is contagious. She's very helpful, understanding and believes in everyone doing well as long you make an effort.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were the readings, writing an analytical paper and the movies we got to watch.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you want to become a doctor, nurse, lab technician, any health related field, please take this course. It offers a humanistic side to medicine.
