    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Whether or not I would recommend this course to someone depends entirely on who I am talking to. If you are someone who enjoys modern or saucy art then you will love this course. But if you are someone who prefers more traditional, more polite art then you will probably feel very uncomfortable in this course.

    Course highlights:

This course is very helpful in understanding how gallery art is working now and how it got it where it is. As an artist in the modern world, I think it is important to understand who is out there making art now and what kind of art are they making.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait to study the material. The teacher covers a lot of stuff each lecture and the best way to ace the class is to stay caught up with the lectures and study as you go. Also, start on the course paper as soon as possible. Getting sources for the paper is harder than you might think. Even if you think you are too busy to find sources in the first half of the semester do it anyways because it is way harder to find time in the second half of the semester. That is what I wish I did differently.
