Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because, like most college math courses, it tests both your mental capacity and your discipline. To be successful you have to not only go to class, put in the work and effort needed to achieve a good grade. The resources are available for you to succeed, but it is up to you to take advantage and make the most of them.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the fact that only did we go over material which I had encountered before, particularly in high school math classes, but also learned new material I had not seen before. In the end I was able to see how the new material only built upon the previous material and it all came together in the end.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study! You need to put in the work on your own, just going to class and doing the bare minimum will not get you far. To excel you have to study and take advantage of all math resources available to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is great, and the course material is easy. It just takes repetition!

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge I needed to continue onto the rest of my science and math related classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework even though it is not required. It is the most helpful thing you can do.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is typically a required course. This is also a course that the college considers something you should have taken your senior year of high school. It you've already taken the course in high school, then I would suggest practicing in order to get a high score on the placement test so you don't need to take this class.

    Course highlights:

A lot of review from pre-calc in high school. It is basic algebra and trig. Pretty easy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do some of the practice problems every week and don't miss class. You'll miss out on some very important practice that will help you with the quizzes and exams.
