Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, because the class is a great way to refine writing at a college level. Many people do not have enough experience writing, and this class helps you to further your abilities while learning new ones.

    Course highlights:

Choosing your own topics was the highlight. The guidelines were given, however as a student, you choose your own topics. I learned how to better format paper, and manage time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write a lot of papers. This class challenges your ability to write these papers one after another.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Over the course of this course, we wrote several different argumentative papers. We were allowed to choose our own broad topic (with a few exceptions) and then could go different ways with each paper we wrote.

    Course highlights:

First off, I had only ever written one type of argumentative paper, so I was challenged in each of the writing assignments. Then, I had to really make sure my sources were of legitimate material and reputable. I also learned more about my opposition and making sure my arguments were sound enough that the opposition could not question me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to work on the papers. Make out a timeline of when you went certain parts of the paper done and follow through with it. Also, keep your resources organized. Much too late in the course I learned to print them off and highlight what I was using. Most of the papers required 5 sources minimum, but I ended using an average of 10.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great course with a good amount of homework but not an overwhelming load.

    Course highlights:

I learned key components for creating anything that requires words while in college, from research and foot notes, to essays, to poetry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do every assignment and do all the work, it will help you in all areas tremendously.
