Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course help me understand music better and taught me to expand my horizons musically. I learned a lot the different musical time periods. It was really interesting to learn how each time period had evolved and changed from the influences of the past.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the different composers in history that got music what it is now. For example, I had a project about a composer named Charles Ives and I had to explain his relevance in the musical history and how he influenced it. He influenced jazz and modern era symphony. With out him music would not be that same in any scenes. This is my most fond memory of the class because I learned a lot and I got to present it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you consider taking this course number one advice is never miss class. Some other tips write short notes because most of what is talked about in class is on power points that go by pretty fast. Do all the homework because that's a good portion of the grade. Last tip, don't do you projects at the last minute because it can make or break your grade.
