    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the professor knew what our best work was, and he demanded it from us. Dr. Campbell was also very willing to answer questions, and staying after class was a good way to gain valuable information about topic you did not understand.

    Course highlights:

Our professor chose a core reading for the class. It dealt with capitalism and the evonomy. We used for all of our writing assignments and had to discuss it for every class. Then came the time to write the dreaded annoyated bibliography. This was completely new territory, and I did not look forward to how much I was going to have to write. I was especially not thrilled that we had to take all of the information in our bibliographies and use it to write research papers about a topic from our core reading. I was not sure I could finish the work; it seemed like a mountain. However, I did finish it, and I have learned that I can do more than I thought I could.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time when writing papers. In the class I took, nobody split the work throughout the week. We waited until the last minute and wound up very stressed. Manage your time. Ask questions about APA formatting. This is the format that the professor requires for every assignment. He docs your grade for mistakes made. Be certain you have the formatting and citations correct before you submit your paper. An extra five minutes- at the most- to check your paper are worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it lets you research your own topics and helps you look at other's opinions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were reading the smaller essays and having a discussion about them. I learned to look at other ways of thinking and processing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to have a broad way of looking at things and an open mind!
