    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to ANYONE! This course is very informative and educational to anyone going into L&D Nursing or anyone with children. This course provides a lot of information that people do not know how to get to. Unfortunately, this course is only provided to those in the Nursing Program through Ivy Tech Sellersburg and is a required to be completed to move on and to graduate. This course has a lot of group work, debates, discussions, and opportunities to role play!

    Course highlights:

The list of highlights for this course is endless! The learning style pleases all learning types and can be understood fairly easily. This course follows a mother through pregnancy and childbirth and then follows a child through development. This course provides the stages of pregnancy, labor, child birth, and postpartum healing proceeded by the stages of development for a child.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all your chapters! ATI chapters assigned to read will be the topic of class!! Complete all assigned Evolve Quizzes and PlayPosits; one, because they are for a grade and two, because they have a lot of testable material on them!
