Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Fundamentals is just that, its the fundamentals of nursing. The class was not hard as long as you paid attention in lecture, read your materials and take good notes. I printed off all power points or lecture notes ahead of time so I could follow along or jot down little notes that would help me better understand what we were learning. You cannot be afraid of asking questions if you don't understand!

    Course highlights:

We were taught at the very beginning the different laws, regulations and safety measures we need to take when caring for patients. The basic fundamentals, vital signs, patient care, bed baths, ect. We were taught test taking skills to prepare us for taking the NCLEX.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, study, take notes during lecture. Put your cell phones away and pay attention. Ask questions if you do not understand, you'll thank yourself later! When you finish with lecture, take some time later that evening to reread your notes. Most programs include different sites that require you to use for test preparation. Use the practice questions to help you understand how to answer these questions.
