Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is kind, easy going and very helpful towards students that request assistance to improve their writing skills. The class itself does have a lot of work in class that prepare the student for the big papers.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make an argumentative research paper. Like many times in life, you need evidence to back up your claim or to shoot down the nay-sayers with research information. The "big" research paper is not simply about information on a topic like in high school, instead the paper makes you think outside the box and organize your thoughts and flow of the paper better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Give yourself enough time to complete tasks and find the right research information. Also, make sure to find reputable sources online by following Ms. Boese's recommendations to steer clear of wiki posts and similar postings.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it taught me to actually think. It allowed me to become aware of different situations and different perspectives from others.

Building friendships with classmates because of our perspectives and thoughts. I learned not everyone thinks the same and that it's important to consider others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Involve yourself in class discussions, be open to others opinions and very ready to think. This class requires thinking skills about all sorts of topics. Don't bee afraid and always ask for help.
