    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone. It is set up so that you can understand what is expected of you easily and as long as you do what you should do and make the effort then you will make a good grade. It is very informative on American History. Something we should all know more about since we live in this great country. You can either take the first class that goes over from the very beginning of our country to the Civil War or you can take the second class that goes over everything from the Civil War to today. Does not matter which order you take them either. And the teacher is very good. She has helped me a lot this semester while I was going through a lot of health issues.

    Course highlights:

A lot of the main parts with the first course that covers from the beginning to the Civil War have to do with slavery and the Native Americans before and after the white man started arriving. I am astonished at how badly both Native and African Americans were treated in this country back in those times. I have learned that our country has came a long way when it comes to discrimination. And we still have a very long way to go.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You would really need to read the chapters before you try taking the quizzes each week. They will ask many questions that you cannot just look up a name or answer for unless you have read the chapter and really understand some of the concepts they are discussing.
