    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Absolutely amazing course taught by a great professor.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the course was the freedom to write about pretty much anything you wanted. Of course, there were genres you had to write in or perhaps themes you had to include somehow in some pieces, but the possibilities were truly endless.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't put off the work! Also, Professor Pike is an avid poetry enthusiast--it's her favorite genre. You will spend the most time in that unit. Sometimes the critiques on poems say it's too abstract, but Pike loves concrete details--that's her style. It doesn't mean you always have to take her advice and alter your own style. Stick to your guns, she likes that too!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love to expand my horizons and this class has brought me to an entirely different level. I've learned how to expand upon my poetic skills and my abilities to write entertaining novellas.

    Course highlights:

I've learned how to mess around with grammar to create intricate pieces of literature. From poetry to fairy tales this class will help you learn the mechanics of writing masterfully.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is currently eight weeks, which will make it really intensive work. Just lock in and focus on your work. I would suggest having family members (if possible) to look over your work.
