Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I didn't just learned about government, but I also learned about social issues and different ways to view the world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning about Tolstoyism and writing essays on our midterms and finals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard for the midterm and final. Thoroughly prepare for writing your essays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. I think it was a good vehicle for broadening your perspective. The Professor was good at making sure unbiased material was covered which allowed for multiple perspectives to be studied. That can be hard to do in such a divided subject. Even when students differed completely in viewpoints from the professor he still graded them according to the substance of their work.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I thought I would about the ins and outs of politics. If one doesn't constantly watch a political news network or read about politics regularly it is impossible to know the processes, terms, and viewpoints within politics very well. I was able to learn a great deal of those things and more with this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend spending some quality time on the discussion boards. There are so many of them that they end up being a decent part of your overall grade. The final is definitely something that you need to sit down and study for. It had 100 questions which all derived from the weekly study guides, and quizzes. I would recommend adjusting your studying accordingly.
