    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The information that this course provides true information about the prison systems instead of the dramatic information that TV shows portray.

    Course highlights:

It focused on the prison systems, jails and touched on law enforcement. It provided true and real facts about all sections.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes and ask the questions no one else will. I was able to find out information through my Professor that was not provided in the material.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is an excellent introduction into the world of criminal justice and gives a basic and fundamental understanding of policing, the courts, corrections, and the system as a whole.

    Course highlights:

I think the most important aspects of the course was learning all the vocabulary and different phrases and names of procedures in the criminal justice system. Many of the concepts are in latin and they are very important to know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class. Listen to your instructor and complete all assignments. Reading the chapters before class and before doing the homework is the best way to learn and retain the information. It's a lot of reading and memorization. Not a hands-on class.
