    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are going to take this class, you need to keep a minimum of one and a half hours a day to study and learn he material on your own. Also, if you don't understand the material, there is not nearly enough help for those that are unprepared.

    Course highlights:

I learned that this class is very in depth, and even though it is called biology, it's more chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you have no outside stressors such as a job or family. This class will consume your time.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very helpful, easy to talk to, and goes over material in depth! He wants his students to succeed and thrive in his classroom! He also wants to help set students in the Biology majors up to go into graduate school and be as successful as they can in the subject.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned about cells, DNA, chemicals, and bacteria. I learned the parts of the cells, DNA of the cells, and how it all works. It was fun because we actually did labs that corresponded with the lessons, we even did a lab where we extracted DNA from a banana. We also had a lab where we made ice cream and got to eat it at the end of class! The professor made it fun and understandable for everyone! The course was fun and I would highly recommend it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest studying as much as you possibly can, especially the study guides given as homework. Reading the book also helped quite a bit. The most help was from the study guides and simply asking my professor questions! When I did my study guides I would rewrite the whole thing and just write the correct answer and then just keep reviewing my handwritten study guide!
