Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. The instructor is knowledgeable and forgiving of working students.

    Course highlights:

The labs were always fun and helped deepen the understanding of the course material. It was also a nice chance to move around and utilize team work with peers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes! The instructor always lets students know when course material will be on the test. It also is important to do the online homework directly before the test is due because often some of that information is on the exams and it serves as a great refresher.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chris is an absolutely amazing teacher. She goes into depth and explains things in interesting ways. She is tough but if you listen and do the work that she tells you, you will learn a lot about biology.

    Course highlights:

In this course you go through all the fundamental of biology. Basically it is everything you learned in high school but much more in depth and complex. You also have a lab in this class however, you do not dissect anything besides a flower.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the note guides Chris makes you and make your own notes! Also I would recommend recording the lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was an amazing instructor. I retained most of what I learned in her course. She used many visual aids to give clearer examples of the subject matter. I left her course with a new fascination for Biology.

    Course highlights:

The labs that we conducted were the most exciting aspect of the course. I learned a great deal about the fundementals of life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I believe you should always make sure you read the assigned chapters throughly before her lectures. This way you can have a better understanding of any terminology used for the chapter.
