Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this course. Children's Lit is a passion of mine, and this course was perfect. The assignments were interesting, the professor was awesome, and the final project was loads of fun.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was the final project where we had to write our own children's book. This is also the first class that has ever made me read comic books for an assignment (not that it was a hardship. I live for comics). I also really enjoyed being forced to look at stories I read as a child and look for meaning in them. I learned how to look past the obvious information presented in stories, and find deeper meanings that aren't always available at first glance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The reading is very important in this class (obviously. It's a Lit class), and you have to do a bit more than simply skim through the stories. It can be fun if you put effort into it.
