    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Anthropology is a good field to study, because it displays human nature through a more complex lens. The discipline brings to light, how much our ancestors & neighboring cultures shape our biological outcome.

    Course highlights:

The anthropology course that I️ attended , consisted of many projects. Although, group presentation were never my forte, I️ learned to really enjoy Friday night sessions. My professor would tell us stories of his research journals from all over the world. We also made class fun by doing culturally themed pitch ins. I️ Learned team building was the core to success.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I️ recommend keeping index cards with you at all times and referring to them throughout the day before class begins. It is always better to be prepared than wish you had studied.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class really helped me to improve my writing skills in several different areas.

    Course highlights:

This course had students write four different papers, each stemming from the last. The first is a summary paper of an article, then an analysis paper, an informative paper, and lastly a persuasive paper. I learned to write in different styles for each paper, and this was helpful for future classes and assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook wasn't involved much besides reference, you'd probably be fine using Google instead to look up terms and methods. Give yourself time to write your papers though, they're a big part of your grade.
