    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was well laid out and structured. We had labs every week, and questions from the book. So you had hands on and reading. We also had discussion boards which was nice, because you heard interesting opinions from the other students.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Astronomy in this course, such as how Venus rotates the opposite direction of all the other planets. Very interesting stuff.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to spend a lot of time preparing for the final and midterm, they are 50 question multiple choice and those 50 questions have a HUGE collection of questions to choose from. So you need to study all the material in detail. The final and midterm make up literally half your grade as well.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was taken online and was pretty much a ton of ancillary work. I did learn somethings but it felt like the focus of course was to accumulate points via stimulating work repetitive class sessions. I would have liked to see more interactive assignments. The only time I really talked and worked with classmates was through discussion boards.

    Course highlights:

I do like how the course was structured. The amount of work for each section was appropriate and the bigger assignments spaced out evenly. Some courses load up the last three weeks with papers and projects, where as this one let you knock a couple out in the first half of the term. Overall, I wouldn't take the course over again or recommend it to others. Maybe it was just the teacher, but there wasn't any real motivation to learn more than what was offered.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course and have the ability to make it to a campus, take it lecture style. Even then you will have interactive labs and see other students as well as the teacher face to face. It is difficult working with someone who won't return your emails or means of communication.
