Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only am I learning what I am supposed to be learning, I am having fun while doing it. My professor is able to express his love for the subject, which is good, but he also able to show how to better ourselves while we progress through the term.

    Course highlights:

I have been learning how to make my work better in my writing. I am also learning to open my mind to more outside of what is normally taught. In doing so I have become more of a free thinker.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell anyone entering this course to make sure they know what they are talking about in any paper. If you do not, he will be able to tell you exactly why you messed up. Make sure you take your classes prior. It will become even more important the further you get into the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a fascinating Course! Each student has the freedom to write on a topic of their own choice (within reason) and expand their knowledge on the given topic. It is great because after completion of this course, one can then credibly speak on the topic he/she chose and know how to back up his/her claim with supporting material.

    Course highlights:

This course was great practice for building critical thinking and written communication skills. By way of writing, it helped me to learn how to organize thoughts not only on paper, but also in my mind before speaking. I learned how to properly and orderly argue a topic in a well thought-out essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start the semester strong, do not be afraid to talk to the professor and ask him/her to read your paper during peer read sessions. The professor knows what he/she wants in the paper better than the classmates do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class and this instructor because she helped me quite a bit. She was always available for questions. She showed me my full potential and helped me to success. I am a better writer since I was in her class.

    Course highlights:

I learn how to do an outline and that she inspired me to become an English Instructor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and turn in your homework. Ask questions if you need help.
