    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lahman is a fantastic professor! she clearly explains certain concepts and ties it back to concepts discussed in previous lessons and the textbook. She wants the students to participate and learn what's being taught because the skills she's teaching are ones that will help you in the work force or in real world situations.

    Course highlights:

I gained confidence in public speaking. Professor Lahman was able to provide a structured approach to preparing a speech and giving a presentation. Another important skill I learned how to communicate and effectively listen to others and a new way to solve problems between others. The other major skill I obtained from this course was how to work in a small group effectively and keep the focus on the subject at hand by making an agenda and following it. This was a huge help because we got done fast and still got a lot accomplished.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to like the course! I know that sounds weird, but so many people are afraid of admitting that they like a course outside their major/ outside their interest or that's easy because they think its a crime. I promise it's not. In fact, the more you enjoy the course, the easier it becomes to stay interacted with what's being taught in the class, which means you'll retain more!
